Let the house project begin

Here’s our blog, created to chronicle our home building project from start to finish.

This week was the demolition and so now is the beginning of our exciting road to building our new home.

This first pic will serve as our "before"... for the last 6 years, the "before" house was the perfect place for the two of us and our greyhound Jack and our cat Azriel, aka Sweet Pea.

Now, we are moving onto the next chapter as we embark on an adventure likely full of highs and lows as we move from our "before" to our "after" house.

We’ll continue to post pics and add stories as the building progress continues, and as the four of us hunker down in an apartment while making seemingly important decisions like shingle color and electrical outlet locations.

Since this week’s milestone was the demolition, we’ll start here and share some of the pics…
