Wooden letters

Forgot to post the pics of Eloise's name in wooden letters. Of course, this was another Etsy.com purchase.

The nursery

We are finally posting pics of the nursery. For those who have been asking, I apologize for taking so long. We got motivated to take pics tonight because we also received her name in wooden letters from an Etsy.com shop and we're excited to hang them over the crib. They look SO cute! But since we are keeping her name a secret, I'll only show you pics sans name. Don't worry, she'll be here soon enough and you all will find out.

  Check out the fun butterflies!

Fabrics for the baby's room

I finally made up my mind on what fabrics to use for the crib bedding in the baby's room. It became kind of a hard decision for me so I hope once they arrive they look great! Check out this pic. This shows the two fabrics together coincidentally in an apron. Apparently someone else thinks these two Amy Butler choices go well together. The fabric that is mostly green is called Gothic Rose and will be main fabric in the room. The other is called Pink Coriander and will be the accent fabric. I should have all of this back from the Etsy craftswoman sometime in late April/early May.

Nursery furniture and my Amy Butler obsession

We've selected the nursery furniture and have it ordered. It's made by Pali and the series is called Salerno. I'm still contemplating what to do as far as a chair/rocker/glider goes. Stay tuned. The nursery is heading in an apple green/white/some pink route, which I think will look really great next to the dark wood furniture. Here is a picture of the furniture..it's java (not black as it appears here).

I'm looking at having crib bedding made locally with Amy Butler fabric. I love her modern designs and bright colors. Aren't these really cute??

My Amy Butler obsession can get a little out of control. Check out all of this cute, homemade stuff from my fav. shop Etsy.com.
