Rowsins

Eloise is big into snacks and at the moment, the top snack is raisins. Perfect. They're good for her, they're easy to give to her, she can be mobile with them, and she asks for them all the time. A real crowd pleaser. The funny part is that she calls them "rowsins". Even after I correct her.

Conversations typically go like this....."Mommy, rowsins. Rowsins."  "Eloise, raisins. They're called raisins."  Then she repeats me and says, "raisins" and I hand some over.  Typically my assistance corrects the mispronounciation. But for some reason, "raisins" just won't stick.  Instead, 5 minutes later we have a repeat.  "Mommy, rowsins."  "Eloise, raisins. They are called raisins."  "Raisins, mommy. Raisins."  5 minutes later...."Mommy, rowsins."  It's like Ground Hog Day around here. Ah!
