Christmas pics

Some of the pictures taken from Eloise's Christmas card photo shoot last week are starting to trickle in so I couldn't resist but show you. With all of Danielle's direction, we went to a few different spots with a few different outfits.  We started at Discovery Place KIDS (which opens up this weekend. locals should check it out!) Here's our pretty, preppy Monkey holding her sock monkey called Noni. (who Eloise named all by herself just last weekend. Noni is pronounced No - Knee. likely Eloise putting together two of her words:)

Then we did a quick costume change and headed over to this super cool graffiti wall. What better way to show off a tutu, a sweet new pair of pink Vans and a pretty red bow (that was strategically placed to hide the big boo boo from last week)?   I haven't seen all of the proofs yet but Danielle said she has more of the graffiti wall so maybe (but kinda of doubtful) Eloise smiled for her for one split second:)  Side note - Eloise is impossible to photograph at this age and was even more busy, busy, busy this afternoon. She was non-stop so I told Danielle, "if you photograph nothing but the back of her head this afternoon, believe me, I completely understand."

After these two spots, we headed to a choo choo train, which as you can expect, Eloise LOVED.  With so much to choose from, I don't know how we'll figure out which direction to take for the 2010 Vail Christmas card. What a cool problem to have! Btw - Danielle's so much fun and a completely awesome photographer. She's really creative, totally funky and takes beautiful pics. She lives in OH and comes to Charlotte (and Raleigh for all of you who live on that side of the state) a lot so get on her calendar the next time she's in the area!
